Will I be given exercises to do at home?
Yes. Exercise therapy is a key part of physiotherapy. You’ll be given tailored exercises designed to support recovery, improve strength, and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
We keep programmes clear and manageable, so they fit into everyday life.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your condition, goals, and how long the issue has been present. Some people improve within a few sessions, while more complex or post-surgical cases may require longer-term rehabilitation.
We’ll always discuss expected timeframes with you.
Is physiotherapy painful?
Assessment and treatment should not be excessively painful. Some techniques or exercises may feel challenging, but we work within your comfort levels and adjust treatment as needed.
Are your physiotherapists qualified?
Yes. Our physiotherapists are fully qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), ensuring safe and professional care.
Can physiotherapy help prevent future injuries?
Absolutely. Physiotherapy doesn’t just address current pain — it also focuses on improving strength, movement control, and resilience to help reduce the risk of future problems.
When should I seek physiotherapy?
If pain is limiting your movement, affecting daily life, or not improving after a short period of rest, physiotherapy can help. Early assessment often leads to faster recovery.
